A moral thriller that peers into the dark heart of the world we take for granted. A mother and a daughter from South Sudan are living a precarious existence as undocumented immigrants in London. They end up in a fight for their lives when Ana is targeted by a human trafficking ring, run from the office where she has found a job as a cleaner.
Contributing consultants include South Sudanese politician, lawyer, and human rights campaigner, Suzanne Jambo, South Sudanese UN Political Affairs Officer, Killa Janda, human trafficking expert and South Sudanese refugee, Bandak Lul, journalist and Sudanese cultural expert, Peter Moszynski, and consultant at the Human Trafficking Foundation, Rachel Smith.
Contributing writers include Georgette Roro and Chier Deng, both journalists and writers from South Sudan who live in London, actress and writer, Jane Slavin, comedian Jake Yapp, and screenwriter, James Moran.
